Participants will gather in over 180 cities all over the world, joining forces to raise money for a charity of their choice. San Francisco has chosen Operation Smile, who some of you may know as 140Smiles.  Real people, real time, real power to make a difference. Location: Horizon Restaurant & Lounge, 498 Broadway Street, San Francisco, CA (Map It) Beginning the night will be an amazing group of DJ’s from @housenationfm. Who to expect: St. John (@sofierce) Host and creator of San Francisco ’s longest running global dance radio show “HouseNation” on CBS Radio’s MOViN99.7… nominated at WMC for mixshow of the year! From the airwaves to the dance floors of the hottest clubs and undergrounds, St.John’s energetic style has made him a staple internationally from Brazil to Canada , and nation-wide from New York ’s Limelight to San Francisco ’s Ruby Skye. With multiple CD releases on major labels such as Thrive and UBL Recordings, St.John has sold over a quarter-million albums and in 2009 continues to work on exciting new projects soon to hit the stores! With a passion for both music and broadcasting, Ross.FM has taken his sound to not only to dancefloors of the biggest clubs and events – but the airwaves as well. Currently part of two radio shows weekly “HouseNation” since 2006 (CBS Radio / Movin 99.7FM) Friday nights, and Host of “The Bounce” (KCRH 89.9FM) Wednesday nights. As co-owner of the record label Vibrance Recordings, his music production work has been played on dance floors around the world, along with national and international radio shows including BBC Radio1 in the UK by both Pete Tong and Judge Jules. Vibrance Recordings has recently released it’s 19th EP and celebrates it’s 4 year anniversary in 2009. JC (@TheINDIEHost) Host of @theFIVE10 Radio, JC has been spinning independent music and talking to the industry’s biggest names for over 6 years. He’s one of the most well respected Internet Radio hosts and boasts a large online listenership. He has done events with some of the biggest names in music including Plain White T’s, The Donnas, and Zion I just to name a few. In his personal life, JC is married to his High School sweetheart and they have two kids. JC lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area.
